With the aim of reviving the heritage of the la Sénia aerodrome, a day was created in 2011 to commemorate its construction during the Spanish Civil War. It is a celebration that takes place every year and aims to raise awareness of all the research work on the military airfield and the wartime aeronautics that is carried out in the town of la Sénia.
The day includes a variety of activities such as historical re-enactments, an aerial exhibition, guided tours of different areas, conferences on the conflict and stalls selling military products, among others.
